5.. oh man….5
I am starting to get the hang of this… And I am starting to really enjoy it. P90X along with Jujitsu is really working on me. Now dont get me wrong, I havent lost 30 lbs yet, for that matter I dont know how many I have lost, but I am on my way. I finished the Kenpo X again, as I dont have the hand weights or the pull up bar to do the others. I am kind of limited! But I did it all and did it better than I did the first time. My wife came in and helped me out a bit. She stopped as she had a meeting. But again thanks for showing. Its nice having support from the wife.
Another milestone today. We went the the mexican food place we love today, and I only had 4 chips and a bit of salsa/bean dip. And than for dinner I had a salad with lemons and viniger.. I wanted the uber fat mexican pizza, however made a good decision.. I work this weekend, so I will be doing my workouts early in the morning. I have to make sure I get them in! So I figure I get my p90x in tomorrow morning. Work tomorrow night, than P90 and jujitsu on Saturday, along with work saturday night. its going to work out well for me. I have a long long way to go, but I will get there.
Day 4, I am right on my way…
They say that you need to get the old out before you put in the new. Well I have been eating pretty good, and have been working out a lot! Maybe I should eat right so I dont have to work out so hard?…..
So today I awoke and did the Stretch X. it was really nice warming up the muscles and really stretched out. After30 minutes I was bored and moved on. Tonight I went over to my Jujitsu class (Superkicks ). I worked for the first time No Gi, and it was really fun but a lot harder. I am hoping to be able to put a full class in vs just an hour or so soon. I dont want to push myself to injury and feel that I need to get some of this weight off before I do a lot.
After I came home and my wife and I did turbo jam. I am not really a fan, but it gets my heart rate up and my wife likes it. I think I will stick with P90x in the morning, and than turbo jam with the wife when she wants too. For cool down we went for a nice walk. All in all good day. I know I am not losing weight yet as I just started my program. But I know I am feeling a lot better.
Enough for today
Day 3 ab ripper!
They call it ab ripper for a reason… yea for 15 minutes of hell it does everything including rip you apart. I probably only did 8 minutes as it was really difficult. However if you add in my jujitsu from this morning, than yes I got a full days work in. Also my wife wants me to work out with her tonight. I think this whole thing is going to go fast. The whole 90 days. They say this is one of the hardest things you could ever do is follow a program for the full 90 without a break .
so I weighed myself this morning, and its ugly. Look ma, only 33 more lbs to get to my first goal. man really? 33 lbs. That is a toddler. But can you imagine how easy these workouts are going to be if I actually shed some of this excess weight? I can only imagine how much easier it will be to move around again without this budda belly stopping me from doing sit ups. I will get there! I know its going to take me the full 90 days to reach my goals.
only 17 more days to make a habit. man really….
P90 suX’s
Workout day number two.
A great man said once that you have to hate to lose more than you hate to run. Well that is pretty much where I am at. I love to lift, but I HATE to eat right and do cardio. Well Due to the fact that I hate being heavy, I am starting to love P90 x. Today was work out two, and I chose CardioX. Thinking that it cant be harder than what I did yesterday right? WRONG. it was ROUGH. So rough in fact that I almost didnt finish it. Well I did finish, just not the way I wanted too. i would say I was dragging ass. But its done. With a combination of Yoga, pilates, and Kenpo for WARM UP. I was sweating before we even hit the workout. Than you add in a variation of cardio and strength stuff… I can honestly say that my workout room may need a glade plug in, or at the very least some lysol spray.
However I feel great. i am going to go take a dip in the pool and let my muscles recoup. hope all of you enjoy my post and I really hope you all support me.

P90x and a New Beginning
that seems to be the usual, another start of another program. Well lets make sure this one sticks. I started P90x today after awaking to multiple infomercials and “success” stories. I felt like why not? This might be something that is challenging enough to get my fat ass off the couch and start moving. Well, cause here is the background story. I used to be totally athletic. Not just athletic, but damn in shape. However early in my 20s I started eating very poor and never got away from it. You all see, I am PRO…. a pro at learning everything you need to know about losing weight, but never putting it to practice longer than 3 months. Anyone can lose weight. Yes siree… that is the easy part. The hard part is keeping it off. Eat this, dont eat that, low carb, no carb, carb load, this and that… its all so confusing to keep going. So I am going to go with the international and universal language… MATH. Burn more calories than I take in. We will see how this goes.
Well this morning I did Kenpo X. Its one of the series of videos that is included in the gaggle of videos. You see I dont have the weights yet, nor do I have the pull up bar. So i am limited to the videos I can do. however i am getting the select Tech weight system, and the P90x bar.
The KenpoX was really fun, very challenging, a great experience. It kept me going the whole time and I completed the full hour. One thing I realized on top of the fact that i am fat, is that i am really really not flexable. This took its time to stretch me out before and after the program. I really enjoyed the full hour and it breezed by. Well tomorrow is day two and I will add more photos, and videos of it. i will also incorperate before, mid, late mid, and final of my 90 days. that will come. So keep coming back, as any comments you give will sure help my motivation.
